National
Police Memorial Day aims to remember the
hundreds of officers who have been killed
on duty since modern policing began more
than 175 years ago, to annually recognise
the courage and dedication to duty shown
by police officers across the UK.
As
with the previous two years, the
Police Federation of England and Wales
is working in partnership with the Home
Office and all other police associations
across the United Kingdom, however this
year we will be supported by our new Patron,
HRH the Prince of Wales.
National
Police Memorial Day black and white chequered
ribbons and pins will be available in shops
across the UK nearer the day but you can
but you can help raise money for the dependants
of fallen officers by purchasing these items
by emailing Maureen Pettifer on: MPettifer@jcc.polfed.org
or by calling her on: 020 8335 1032
